Omolola Coker (@burntexpression) is an artist who wears several hats. By profession she’s a researcher specialising in renewable energy and infrastructure finance, but like all things unearthed by the pandemic, her paintings became a place of refuge and joy. Her acrylic and oil pastel portraits capture moments of stillness that also carry unspoken emotions/words through intense colours and texture. @diasporareflections is fortunate to have her at our summer garden event.
